Known as the toughest pro poker player that has not yet won the WSOP Championship, he has been a great player for many years.

A lot of people believe him to be the best all-around poker player in today's field of top level pros. He has won five WSOP bracelets since his first WSOP event in 1983.

He graduated from of Berkeley and is a former professional football player. As many pros are, he is a great player. His ability to stay in the game after all these years is a true testament to his abilities.

One of his greatest attributes to the game is his detailed memory for recalling hands played against opponents through the years and this knowledge combined with his in-depth card sense makes him one of poker's most successful players.

Married, he brings his wife on the road to many of his tourneys. He was born in Texas and lives there now.
