California charity bingo revenue slipping due to Indian casino competition

Many online casino players enjoy this casino game not only for its amusement worth and potential to win money, but online casino players love a good charity as well. Maybe not as much as before, at least on land. California is reporting thatit's bingo charity related revenue is disappearing.

Many organizations that have been depending on charitable events from bingo games are running out of cash to keep afloat. So, the next time you are playing online bingo at an online casino, look for halls that provide great pay-outs and charitable contributions.

In fact, many charities in the state of California are feeling that there revenue has dropped due to the many Indian casinos around the state. Many of the charities that have depended on bingo charity events believe that the Indian casinos are taking away business from the usual bingo halls.

One such charitable organization, Ride to Walk saw its bingo profits sink after the Thunder Valley Casino opened in 2003 nearby.

The organization says that before Thunder Valley, the charity's weekly bingo night at a bare-bones hall in suburban Sacramento generated as much as $150,000 a year. Now its Tuesday night session makes no revenue at all

Even though a few Indian casinos have given generously to charity, analysts estimate that earnings from charity bingo in California has been slashed nearly in half in some spots near Indian casinos.
